To all of the troops that are serving here and abroad i would like to say THANK YOU for all you do to protect us. I too, know how it feels to be away from family and friends as i was in the navy many years ago, and i also have a son in the U.S. ARMY (HUA) getting ready to go to Korea. No matter where I stand in this country ALL OF YOU will have my undying support!!! To all of you, stay safe, do your job well and come home to the people who love you and miss you.

As an American and a veteran, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service and sacrifice. I appreciate you going to war and overseas to support my freedoms and those of my children and students. I am writing you as a girl scout leader who is working on the Patriotism Interest Patch with the 7th grade girls. Next week, to finish up our patch, we will be going to King Veterans home to talk to Veterans about their experiences and help out with Bingo. Thanks again for your service and know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of the American people.

My girl friend told me about a conversation she had at work the other day with man that just returned for overseas, he is now a double amputee. he is because he was doing his job. i just wanted to say thanks to all of you for serving me, my country, and for doing your job. thank you so much

I saw a video today called "surprise soldier homecomings caught on tape" and decided it was finally time to log on and write a message of sincere thanks. I have three kids of my own and know how sweet it feels to see them and hold them after even a few days or a week of being away. Thank you so much for what you do, for what you are willing to sacrifice, for everything you endure, and for the blessing you are to our Country. God bless you. Thanks for risking your life everyday to protect our country. I'm sure it's hard for me to imagine what it's like for you while I'm still in the states taking many luxuries for granted, but I appreciate all of you everyday.
