Restoring Hope: A Marine Shares Story of Survival
Washington, Sep. 7, 2010  - Lafleur will share his story throughout Defense Media Activity’s Restoring Hope coverage in September. He will be profiled Sept. 10 on “This Week in the Pentagon” as a part of the Pentagon Channel’s month-long special programming. Lafleur will talk about life after attempting suicide and the work he has done to prevent others from taking their own lives. Article

Army Considers Yoga to Treat Soldiers' Pain
Fort Meade, Sep. 7, 2010  - Sgt. 1st Class Felicie Spencer takes medication for the pain she experiences from an injury. But for a few months this spring, Spencer attended yoga classes at Gaffney Fitness Center. A member of Fort Meade's Warrior Transition Unit at Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center, Spencer said the practice soothed her discomfort. Article
